Trimbach Grand Cru Riesling

TASTING NOTE:

Geisberg: OFF-DRY Lemon, lime, grapefruit, green apple, pear, herbal, flint, minerality ripe stone fruit. This wine has unequalled fruitiness, finesse and elegance.

Schlossberg: DRY. Apple, pear, melon, apricot, peach, grapefruit, petrol, minerality. Aging in old oak barrels offers nutty, smoke and hay like aromas.

STYLE:

These wines have been produced by Trimbach, a winery focused on producing top quality, sustainable wines. Both these wines have the typical Alsation high acidity and steely minerality. They are considered to be among some of the best wines in the world.

Geisberg has a potential aging of 10 to 30 years and is made in extremely limited production, it received 94/100 from Wine Spectator magazine.

Schlossberg is more delicate and drier but remains full bodied and is considered outstanding, receiving 92/100 from Wine Spectator magazine.

FOOD PAIRING:
