The Scottish Gantry is delighted to present to you an exceptional Single Malt Scotch Whisky 30 years in the making. The Spirit- distilled in 1990- harks from the Macallan distillery- revered worldwide and renowned for luxury and excellence. This whisky spent three decades quietly maturing in the Scottish Highlands then, after finishing in a freshly seasoned Pedro Ximinez Sherry Hogshead, the resulting nectar was deemed ready by Whisky Master, David Boyd. This single cask is completely unique and has yielded only enough spirit to fill 220 of our bespoke decanters, bottled at 46.9%abv.

Tasting notes by David Boyd

Colour: Rich Mahogany

Nose: Soft apricot, roasted almonds and cinnamon accompany a delicate aroma of dried figs.

Palette: Dark chocolate and orange accompany a rich sticky toffee. Stunning sweetness of muscavado sugars pairs beautifully with enough fruitiness to contrast the sherry. Notes of aniseed, dates and raisins linger.

Finish: An extraordinary, elegant end palette of moist fruitcake and creamy black treacle.
