X4:01 18 is matured in Rivesaltes and Bourbon cask, the spirit comes off the still at 85%abv (!!!!), leading to more interaction with the oak. This is extraordinary whisky, gentle, sweet and fruit laden, which, although it has a definite presence of muscular high strength, is refined, light and unique.
