Grown in the Rattlesnake Hills of Yakima Valley this Malbec is a far cry from the blockbuster beasts of Argentina. Savage Grace’s use of the French name for Malbec – “Côt” – tells us that this American wine is something a little different. Many believe the name Côt originated in northern Burgundy and this red certainly has more in common with Burgundian Pinot Noir or the rare Malbecs of the Loire Valley than it does with its South American compadres.
