An explosion of aromas and flavours that expresses the terrioir to it's best advantage. A Natural sweet wine, that is balanced by acidity with flavours of red currants, red cherries and a mineral background. Aged for 8 months in French oak.
This is the only sweet Mencia wine made. Produced using the best Mencia grapes, which are harvested late - when over ripe, after they have started to dry on the vine to get the full fruity aromas. Then further dried by storing at 5ºC before fermentation. Underlying minerals hints together with a beautiful balance between residual sugar and acidity. Sweet and concentrated mouth feel, that is surprisingly fresh and elegant with a velvety smooth finish.
