Old Perth Pedro Ximenez Limited Edition

The team at Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers are delighted to introduce the first in our annual series of limited Editions from our Old Perth range: Old Perth Pedro Ximenez.

As with all of our Old Perth range, this whisky is fully matured in sherry casks. This Limited Edition takes its name from the luxurious grape of Southern Spain (Pedro Ximenez), picked very ripe or sun-dried to concentrate the sugar and natural acidity of the wine. Maturation in a combination of Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogsheads and Butts has resulted in a whisky packed full of flavour with a velvety texture.

Bottled at 56.2% and limited to 800 bottles for the UK, rich notes of stewed fruits, sherry-soaked prunes and dark chocolate on the palate.
